Not expecting any tricks, but I am looking forward to at least one treat today. I'm meeting my friend for gelato this afternoon. All good wishes as she begins her radiation treatments today.
I slept last night, thankfully. Today's a new day. I'm OK. All of the changes that have occurred in the past three weeks are overwhelming and my head is spinning but I will get through this.
I am grateful for YOUR support! Thank you for traveling this journey with me. Your encouragement, your steadfastness, your kindness....all mean the world to me.
[Several followers have commented about having difficulty reading the posts with all the pinks that I am using. This morning, I tried and failed multiple times to change the background of the post area and also the background of the blog itself. The blogger indicated acceptance, but when I viewed the blog, it didn't change. If it continues to be an issue, please send an email and I will be happy to send you the posts in black and white.]
I am so sorry to hear this. Just hang in there, as you are finding out cancer sometimes means 1 step forward, 2 steps back. Just remember on the two steps back God is making us stronger, and strength and determination is what it takes. I have always known you are a very determined lady!!! Thank you for sharing and know I am only a call away if you need me.
ReplyDeleteCharllene - oh why does this road have to be so bumpy? I know you are strong and will perservere but I so prayed that it would be a smoother ride. I will continue with my prayers for you and your entire family and I do know the power of prayer is one strong thing. God will listen and his path is not always what we want or expect but He is walking with you for sure. You are strong and have so many wonderful friends that are all pulling for you. That in itself should give some comfort and strength. We are all praying and praying and praying. He will hear us. Keep the faith because it does help to get you through some of these trials. Thank you for sharing this journey with all of us and know that we are here for you. Kathie
